Who is Shadow River Tree Services?
Hello, my name is Kjell, and I started our small, family run, tree cutting business in 2022. We are serving the Parry Sound and surrounding areas with a goal of providing personal, reliable, and efficient tree care.I started my journey into arboriculture in 2013 when the infamous “Christmas Ice Storm” decimated much of Southern Ontario and Quebec. I saw for the first time what an arborist does and the importance of the trade. I left a career in forest fire fighting to study under various arborist's in the Greater Toronto Area. I have been a lead arborist with Big Tree Services, from Brampton, Ontario, since 2015. But it was time to move out of the "big city", with my young family, to where we have strong family ties to Parry Sound.I enjoy the technical aspects of climbing trees for pruning and removal. I feel as passionate about the trade today as the first time I got into a tree. I am always learning and improving my craft and have the experience to provide a valuable service.
